GABS - F&F (Feed the Fees annually):
'F&F' is one of the key activities in GABS. Through this program we planned to pay the annual fees for deserving students who are from economically backward family and showing high performance in their studies.
WATER PURIFIER SYSTEM
The drinking water facility in our school is well known to all of us. In order to make our juniors to taste the hygienic and pure water we are planning to install a water purifier in our school. This would be a one time investment for long term purpose. Hope this plan would help in reducing the diseases that spread through water during rainy seasons.
GABS-(PDC CAMP)
The PDC club in our school will conduct camp every year. This camp is mainly for motivating the students and to bring out their talents to the light. Those who are interested from our GABS TEAM can also participate in this camp and can help our students in improving their lifestyle.
GABS-GEC (Good Example Context):
This is a special program from our GABS. All the students who are clearing all the subjects and holding rank in Quarterly & Half yearly examinations will be rewarded with certificate as a " Good Example Student ". These certificates would be given to the students along with their parents during open day. This will indirectly motivate the students who got failed in one or two subjects. In addition to this, the students who scored 1st, 2nd and 3rd rank from each class would be rewarded with cash as a token of encouragement.
GABS-NSC (Night Study Centre):
Generally, residence for a middle class family in Chennai is congested. No one can claim to be free and act free. For my mother will cook in one corner and my heart patient grandma will be sharing another corner. Where will I study? One of our students grumbled.
There dawned the idea of “Night Study Centre". The notion of study centre means, gathering the poor students under a comfortable atmosphere. So they can study without any disturbance. After seeing the above need of study centre, GABS would like to create a permanent place for the students to study.
